Austrian, Günter Schachermayr leapt from the 131-metre Schlegeis dam while sitting on a Vespa motor scooter on Saturday (August 1st)

“I have done a lot of stunts in the past with my Vespa, but being so close to such a powerful concrete wall seemed really brutal and scary,” said 42-year-old Schachermayr. According to an interview on GP One he said he blacked out for a second after jumping!

He has in the past, amongst his other Vespa stunts, also driven his Vespa scooter underwater in another stunt. I remember someone doing this in Ireland one time but it wasn’t really intentional :-/
